At your age it is probably yeast. You can see your doctor or try over the counter miconazole cream. It comes in 3 day packages and up to 7 days. If there is no improvement after that definitely make an appointment.
Hello,

The most common reason for severe intermittent itching is a vaginal yeast infection. First, I would try over-the-counter medicine such as miconazole, itraconazole, etc. It should work. If not, then call your doctor and ask for a prescription called fluconazole, which is an oral medication.
I hope that this will help.

3 things that it could possibly be, it could be a latex allergy with the use of condoms that if your partners wear a condom. If that is the case then get him to switch to non-latex condoms. The other possibility is a yeast infection which is easily treatable with over the counter yeast medication. Last but not least is it could possibly be a skin condition in the vulvar. My first thing will be to treat with over the counter yeast medication first. If it does not seem to resolve please go over to your gynecologist to check it out.
