Pediatrician Questions Seizures

The last 2 times when my daughter had fever she ended up with seizures. Is something wrong?

My daughter had the flu twice last year, and both times she had a fever and ended up having a mild seizure. Could there be a bigger underlying problem?

Febrile seizures are common until about 6 years of age especially if other family members have them. However, fever makes it easier to have a seizure if you have a seizure disorder. If any seizures without fever, or no family history of febrile seizures, or out of the age range, I would recommend further work up
