My gum hurts where my wisdom tooth was taken out. Is this normal?

I got my wisdom teeth taken out 1 month ago (all 4) and one of the spots still hurts. Is this normal?

In most cases yes. You might decide to schedule a check up appointment with your dentist.
Each site heals differently. This is not abnormal and this could be due to a boney slicjke eorking it’s way out.
You should have the dentist take a look to rule out the possibility of an infection.
See your dentist. Get an X-ray and evaluation.
It is for a bit, but if it increases or continues, go get it checked.
Sometimes during wisdom tooth removal, especially if it was a difficult extraction, small, bony spicules or spurs can still be working themselves through to the surface and can cause discomfort. Sometimes they can be plucked out by the patient and sometimes they will need to be removed by the oral surgeon. They can present themselves like finger nail clippings.
That does seem to be a rather long time. But as long as no infection exists, it could be a very slow healing site for whatever reason. I would suggest having the surgeon evaluate that area to confirm that there is nothing “abnormal” occurring.
Not necessarily. Go back to your oral surgeon to look at the problem.
Sometimes soreness can last for quite a while after having a wisdom tooth removed. See your dentist or oral surgeon to have the area checked to make sure it is healing properly.
Most cases, no. You may have a piece of bone irritation of the gum; it’s called a bone spicule. Have the surgeon look at it.
Yes, it is still possible, but you should follow up with the doctor about that. There is a reason for the pain.

What you are experiencing is called osteogenesis and can take several months to begin the process of replacing the socket where the tooth is occupied with new, fresh bone cells and new nerve endings.
