General Practitioner Questions Flu Shot

Is it okay if a healthy adult misses a flu vaccine?

This year I had an 8 month period where I didn't have health insurance and I missed my yearly flu shot. Is it okay to pick back up on it next year?

Recommended to have it yearly but can do a catch if still available- but do it for next season
Yes there is no problem with that.
It is still not too late to get a flu shot, for sure next year.
In general, healthy adults do not need to worry about the flu, especially if they have been exposed to the flu virus previously. There is no absolute indication for healthy adults getting flu shots. Meanwhile, you can rest assured that missing one year's flu shot will not expose you to an unacceptable risk.
Yes it is.
