Don't know what you mean by "repair". For the best gum health, don't smoke or chew tobacco products. Brush gently but thoroughly after each meal. Floss daily. These are the natural remedies you control. If you have recession (exposed roots) or periodontal (gum) disease, you require professional dental treatment. For maintenance, have cleanings with a dental professional every 6 months (unless told otherwise by a dentist).
Employ modified bass brushing technique with a toothbrush (preferably electric) and fluoridated toothpaste (preferably Tom's of Maine whole care or Arm and Hammer PeroxiCare... Sometimes Prevident toothpaste if you have some actual cavities). Flossing can be accomplished 3 ways:

1.) C-shape flossing technique with string floss
2.) C-shape flossing technique with access flossers
3.) Water flossing (recommended, WaterPik Aquarius is a great model).

Quick side note: use toothpaste with fluoride. The fears surrounding fluoride in toothpaste are silly and not based in reality. Grinding your teeth, brushing too hard, and smoking damage the gums. There are a lot of oral care products out there, most of the stuff available is not very good, like that charcoal toothpaste from Lush and stuff like that. Highly recommend against that stuff, doesn't help as much as the alternatives. See your dentist (/dental hygienist for a cleaning) once or twice a year at least, or more if necessary.
Hope that helps.
