“How can one treat viral meningitis?”
My teenage son was just diagnosed with viral meningitis. The doctors are saying that we can't use antibiotics because they're not effective in these cases. How can we treat this then?

It depends. There is antiviral meningitis medication, like acyclovir for viral meningitis.
Herpetic meningitis requires treatment but the rest of viral meningitis is supportive. Treating the headache and fever.
