There is no age limit or cut off for getting diabetes. Type 1 can even be found in toddler. Obesity is leading cause of type 2 diabetes in all age group.

There are lots of ways that you can do speech therapy at home. I would recommend that you contact the speech pathologist who recommended the service and see if he/she is able to provide the services remotely to your son. If not, there are plenty of YouTube videos that you could use.

Hello. Your son can have speech therapy online via teletherapy services. Many practices offer teletherapy where the the speech therapist can do a session via a live videoconference-similar to skype or zoom. Many practices have licensed and verified speech therapy telehealth platforms where they can offer services online in this way. This method allows the therapist and child to still be able to see each other and work together. The therapist can also share their screen and share documents and materials with these online platforms.
