How do I free a trapped nerve in my shoulder?

I am a 59 year old male. I want to know how do I free a trapped nerve in my shoulder?

Depending on the location of the trapped nerve within the shoulder, you could try nerve glides to free it. There are great instructional videos on YouTube for them, too.

Hello,

Pain is usually the best indicator of a pinched nerve, but reduced range of motion or reduced quality of life are usually good indicators a nerve is pinched.

Depends. If you have an old shoulder injury such as strained or partially torn ligament/muscle or history of dislocation the nerve may be entrapped by scar tissue and will require surgery. If it is shoulder or neck misalignment aggravating the nerve, a chiropractor can help.

Myofascial release techniques and cupping are useful ways to free an impinged nerve. These can be performed by a Chiropractor or physical therapist.
