Gently rub body with a damp cloth, give appropriate dose of acetophenine.
Cold bath
Give the child Motrin or Tylenol. Also a lukewarm or tepid bath will also decrease the temperature.
If your child is less than 2 months, she needs to see a doctor before you can give tylenol. For older than 6 months, you can give tylenol (acetaminophen) or Motrin (Ibuprofen) as needed. Make sure to give the correct dose. Keep the child in a cool environment, and can try a lukewarm bath.
