It depends on if your current contact lens prescription is valid (not expired). If it's valid, then can order them through your eye care professional or an online retailer. If your prescription has expired then you may need to get it updated by your eye care professional, which may require a contact lens exam.
Please visit your ophthalmologist or optometrist. They are taking proper precautions and can prescribe contact lenses for you even during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Hi there, most offices should have extensive Covid safety measures in place to safely have an in-office exam for contacts. If you’re high risk or want to be extra cautious, you can often request the first appointment of the day. If you have a valid prescription then you can contact your doctor’s office to have contacts shipped directly to you.
You need to make an appointment with your optometrist for a contact lens exam. Most optometrist's offices are open for business, but most will have some safety protocols that they are following to help keep everyone safe (i.e., everyone must wear and mask and they may be limiting the number of people they allow in the office).
EyeCare is part of the essential work force, so you can use your current prescription to order contacts (in person/telephone/online) or make an appointment to be seen to get a new prescription. In areas that are shut down, most doctors/suppliers will extend prescriptions.
Call your pharmacy or opticians or optometrists
By calling the doctor's office or ordering online.
Hello,

You should still be able to order contact lenses from your eye care provider during this pandemic. Most contact lens distributors now offer free home shipping.
