Therapy, medicine, yoga, mediation. It's actually a complicated issue. I will have an online lecture on YouTube.
You could look up the following techniques:
-Breathing exercises
-Jacobson's Muscle relaxation techniques
-Imagery Therapy

Using the above modalities helps calm down during an episode of anxiety.
If it happens everyday, and anxiety affects your daily activities creating non-productiveness, consult a skilled and trained Psychiatrist as serious episodes will result into continued lack of motivation to pursue and accomplish control of your daily responsibilities. Wellness depends on the choice of taking the right medication and commitment to therapeutic understanding of stressors surrounding the unrelenting daily challenges. Anxiety can be helped with the right psychiatric interventions. Do not delay your wellness. Seek help.
Although it is common to treat anxiety with medications, in my experience, this is not a lasting cure. Very often anxiety attacks are related to life changes and events which are not obvious, but in the background. Often it requires some detective work to identify triggers that are leading to the anxiety. By carefully tracking the anxiety, you can expose the issues that are causing it.
Have someone teach you the correct technique for deep breathing, which calms anxiety. Also, an evaluation would be helpful to see if you could benefit from either short-acting or ongoing medication.
