I am a 37 year old female. I want to know how fast do you start to lose weight after gastric sleeve surgery?

Within the first week.
Weight loss is almost immediate however slow at first. If you have modified your diet anyway postoperatively you will see a progressive weight loss and then Eventually reach a steady state based on your caloric intake!
Pretty much immediately.
I usually quote patients the following:
Month 1: 20-40 lbs
Month 2-3: 10-20 lbs
Months 3-6: 5-10 lbs
Months 6+: 5 lbs
Patients typically lose weight for 9-18 months.
Month 1: 20-40 lbs

Months 3-6: 5-10 lbs
Months 6+: 5 lbs
