“How is colon cancer treated?”
My father has been diagnosed with colon cancer. He is also diabetic and has hypertension. What will be his course of treatment?

Sorry to hear about your father. Colon cancer has 4 stages and treatment depends on the stage and symptoms. It can be either surgery alone or surgery plus chemotherapy. A CT scan is needed to rule out distant spread. Then typically surgery is needed to remove that segment and see if chemotherapy is needed or not.
