Usually, heel pain is Plantar Fasciitis. Many treatments that range from stretching to surgery. Steroid injections and anti-inflammatories help. I would suggest you find a Podiatrist.
Multiple causes including infection, inflammation. Usually helped with strapping. Sometimes an injection of steroids helps, but cannot be given into heel cord without risk of rupture.
There are several treatment options available for heel pain, but it will all depend on the exact cause of your heel pain as there are many conditions that can produce the symptom of heel pain. Being properly evaluated by a medical professional is highly recommend as soon as possible, as neglected or long-standing heel pain is often harder to treat than if treatment were sought immediately.
It depends on what is the cause of your heel pain. First, you will need to be examined and evaluated by your podiatrist to determine the cause of the heel pain.
YOUR QUESTION CANNOT BE ANSWERED. THE DOCTOR NEEDS TO CHECK WHY YOU HAVE THE PAIN AND, ACCORDING TO HIS DIAGNOSIS, THE TREATMENT TO BE USED. YOU SHOULD GO TO A PODIATRIST!
First, you must determine cause of heel pain. It usually is treated with a steroid injection and a pair of custom inserts for offloading. If that fails, then fracture boot or PRP injections.
Treatment depends on the cause of the heel pain. It could be plantar fasciitis, tarsal tunnel bursitis, fractures, neuritis, etc. The first step in treatment is to have a visit to your podiatrist to have a diagnosis made.
