“How long does it take for general anesthesia to wear off?”
I'm having surgery on my spine in a week. How long does it usually take for general anesthesia to wear off?

Usually you are awake in 1 or 2 hours . But there are drugs that could be in your body for almost 24hrs.
5-10 minutes for much of it. A couple of hours for the rest. It depends in part on exactly what you get.
Most modern drugs wear off in minutes.
