“How long does it take to do a CT scan of the neck?”
My friend will need to have a CT scan of their neck. Approximately, how long will this take?

In 20 minutes or so, you will be done!
A CT scan of the neck will take not more then 10 minutes. If it is done following injection of IV contrast X Ray dye, then it can take a little longer but not much longer.
