How long does it take to get a full mouth of dental implants?

I am a 42 year old male. I want to know how long does it take to get a full mouth of dental implants?

HI,

In our office, it takes 1 day to place the implants, put temporary non-removable dentures on them. If the extractions need to be made, it's done the same day, too.
There is no one or simple answer to this question. There are a number of things to factor into the time frame including, but not only:

-Your current dental status
-How much bone you have to be able to place implants
-Desired restoration type
-Will there be multiple specialties involved in your case

and more. Your best bet is to go to your dentist to discuss your desires and based on that, a plan can be developed with an approximate time line.

You can have the implants placed in one or two sittings, then it takes about 3-6 months to have the final bridgework done. Another option is 4 on 4 where you get four teeth with implants done in the same day, but is it not indicated for full-mouth types of restorations.
Hi there,

We are able to provide our patients with full mouth implants and teeth in the same day. We would need to see you for a consultation and a CT scan to determine if you are a good candidate for the implants and design your case with our computer guided surgery protocols. You can walk out with beautiful looking and functioning teeth supported by the dental implants the same day of the surgery. All procedures are completed in our state of the art facility in Trenton. So there is no need to travel or go between offices.
Hope that would help answering your question.

It depends. Rushing treatment may not lead to the best care. Are the implants going to support removable dentures, dentures that are screwed into place, or crowns? Do you need to have supporting tissue grafted before the implants can be placed? Dentists and Oral Surgeons who belong to ASIRD, take lots of classes on providing excellent implant therapy. You will probably have to wait until the Corona Virus has been contained.
Hi,
Full mouth implants probably will take about a month. They can be done on a temporary basis in about 30 -60 days depending on what type of prosthesis you choose. There is a substantial amount of planning that goes into the process.

Use of mini implants and a removable full denture will be the fastest, and require the least amount of planning and cost.
Regular implants and a fixed prosthesis will be the most expensive, and overall can take about 6 to 12 months depending on the surgeon and the overall health of the patient.
It depends. It can be done in one day with temporary teeth, but it may take longer.
