How long does it take to recover from eyelid plastic surgery?

I am a 46 year old female and I will have eyelid plastic surgery. How long does it take to recover from eyelid plastic surgery?

The post surgical swelling is gone in 3 to 5 days. Bruises usually changed from a ”black and blue” to a more yellow color change at the end if a week and can easily be covered with make up. There is specific make up for covering bruises without having to put thick make over the skin. I have had many patients simply wear sunglasses even before the selling subsides and return to a regular routine including grocery shopping.
If your plastic surgeon has not given you that information, I would reconsider having surgery done at this clinic. find yourself a plastic surgeon who will provide you with all the information ahead of time. Good luck from New York City plastic surgery
6-8 weeks
Swelling and bruising for 2 weeks. Back to work in 1 week.
We ask patients to take a week off of work for the initial recovery period. There will be swelling and some mild bruising within the first few weeks. We do have our patients on vitamins to speed up the recovery process! After the first week, you can go back to work and do your normal daily activities. NO WORKING OUT FOR AT LEAST 6-8 WEEKS! Other than that, a week should be plenty of time. If you talk in front of people or if you are concerned with the swelling/bruising, you can request time off of work for a longer period. Hope this helps!
