How long does polypectomy surgery take?

I am a 39 year old male. I want to know how long does polypectomy surgery take?

Most polypectomies are done during colonoscopy, not surgery. A typical colonoscopy takes 10-15 minutes to perform. Only the largest polyps would require surgery to remove, and those surgeries might last 30-60 minutes.
About 1-3 hours.
The surgeon can make a guess...but only a guess. Probably no more than an hour, but your family will think it takes 3 times as long because of all the preop preparation and the nurses monitoring your recovery from anesthesia.
