How long will braces take to fix one tooth?

I am a 26 year old male. I want to know how long will braces take to fix one tooth?

The duration of treatment will depend upon the method used to fix the misalignments. Also, the further out of line the tooth is the more difficult it will be to correct, adding to the time required.
It usually depends on how crooked the tooth is, how healthy it is, and what the other teeth around it look like. Sometimes it's more complicated to fix one tooth because of how it hits with the surrounding teeth. It's kind of like asking if you can just change one cylinder on an engine, or one tire on a 4WD car... how they function is all interconnected, but getting a consult will be a good way to find out what is possible and if it's worth it.
Usually the time for movement will be determined by the distance that the tooth needs to move. 1mm per month is considered pretty fast movement. The hard part is getting only the 1 tooth to move. Consider if you only wanted to knock down one bowling pin - not as easy as it sounds when you really try to do it! Try Americanboardortho.com for an orthodontist in your area!
It's all a matter of what exactly needs to be done to the one tooth. There are too many unknowns to your question to answer with any accuracy. I suggest that you consult with an orthodontist, who can give you that information when he sees your particular situation.
It depends on which tooth and how much it is displaced from its normal position and what interference it has to overcome. It is possible that all the teeth in that arch need to move some to get one tooth in place. Your orthodontist will give you a better answer.
