“How many hours a day do you wear dentures?”
I am a 59 year old male who needs dentures. How many hours a day do you wear dentures?

Generally, we recommend patients to wear their dentures in the day time and take them out in the evening. Also, do not forget to clean them after you take them out with Effredent Denture Cleanser Tablet to kill 99.9% of odor causing bad bacterias, and to remove stains.
Hello,
There is no real set amount of time to wear dentures for everyone. However, it is recommended that the dentures are taking out for sleeping. If a person gets 8 hours of sleep the dentures will be out for 8 hours and the gum tissues will have 8 hours of time without a denture sitting on them. This is mainly done to prevent a fungal infection which dentures make gum tissues prone to. Usually this 8 hours is enough for most people; however, if problems start to arise this time can be adjusted by taking them out an hour before bed. Now they will get 9 hours. They can also be adjusted the other way as well; especially if a night-out is on the calendar. Hope this helps.

I would try to wear them all the time. I will try to sleep with them if possible if I was comfortable enough. I will clean them frequently after each meal and before I went to bed. But wearing your teeth helps maintain your temperament Debula joint alignment
As many hours as you need them as long as you remove them and clean them periodically. It is best to remove them at bedtime and have them cleanse in a safe approved cleanser.
You wear a denture until you're ready for bed. Otherwise, if you have stopped eating for the night and you live alone, you can take them out sooner.
Dentures are worn at the discretion of the patient. However they should be taken out at night and cleaned thoroughly before bed. They can be placed in again in the morning for breakfast. So the answer to your question is anywhere from 10 to 18 hours a day.
