One per tooth is possible for each tooth to be restored. Or dentures on implants is a possibility.
Hello I hope you are feeling well. There are many factors that are taken into account when developing a treatment plan for a well designed prosthesis for an edentulous patient. Some of these factors include quantity and quality of bone present in the edentulous arch (remaining gums), how long the patient has been edentulous (without teeth) the anatomical landmarks present near the sites where implant need to be place such as the maxillary sinus cavity and the nerves that innervate (give feeling to) the mandible and what type of prosthetic device will be used. For instance, will it be removable or fixed and how long the implants will be depending amount of bone and anatomical landmarks present.
Generally speaking the upper prosthetic device if it is going to be fixed meaning not removable by the patient only the dentist needs 6 implants but in some cases can be accomplished with four implants. The lower arch can usually be restored with 4 implants depending on bone quality and quantity.
Bone can be grafted in certain cases in order to increase bone height and successful case outcome. There are other factors that can also affect the complexity of each individual case which can only be properly decided after clinical exam diagnosis, xrays, ct scans and proper treatment planning.
The recommended number depends on what kind of final restoration you are getting on top of these implants. This is a conversation you must have prior to considering doing complete implant rehabilitation.
Ask your Dentist.
Clear choice offers what is known as “All on 4” which means an upper and lower denture can be supported by as few as 4 implants. Typically after all the teeth are removed, a conventional denture is made while implants are placed and allowed to integrate. This may take several months
It depends on each.
A minimum of 4 implants but up to 8 may be necessary depending on the condition of the patient's bone quality.

Most cost effective is 4 locator implants with a securely fastened but removable denture. But going to a “Clearchoice” center for a totally fixed replacement could cost over $30,000 and could need upwards of four implants. And these figures are PER DENTAL ARCH. There are two arches per mouth. I personally have patients that demand an implant per tooth.

It varies how many implants it takes to replace all your teeth based on the volume and quality of bone you have in your jaws, the type of restoration you desire and on your personal habits such as if you grind your teeth or have a diet which consists of foods hard to chew such as raw carrots and nuts. For a non removable restoration, I like to place a minimum of 6 implants in the upper jaw to support a 12 tooth restoration and 5 implants in the lower jaw to support a 12 tooth restoration. If the distribution of the implants is not ideal it may be advisable to include fewer teeth in the restoration or opt for a removable restoration.
It varies from case to case but it can be as little as 4 per jaw to as many as 6 per jaw.
Depends on the # of teeth to be placed, upper or lower arch. Quick answer is 2 to 6
