It will be successful if you are motivated,
Very. But not everyone likes it.
It can be successful only if you find someone who knows what they are doing. Most who claim to be trained in CBT, do not show results.
Skillfully applied CBT is the most effective treatment for anxiety disorders. Also, for major depression, it is at least as effective as medications but has a much lower relapse rate than meds. CBT teaches new skills that the patient may use infinitely in their lives. CBT is a biological therapy in the sense that it changes the structure and the chemistry of the brain making it more resistant to depression and anxiety resistant.
Hi,

Thank you for your question. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a short-term and highly effective treatment for many common issues, including depression and anxiety. CBT explores and helps to resolve negative automatic thoughts and underlying core beliefs about the self, other people, and the world using structured activities and specific interventions. CBT also involves behavioral activation and development of new coping skills.
I hope this has been helpful!

It is very successful in treating anxiety and depression.
It can be very successful, but you have to work hard at making changes.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is quite effective in the hands or an experienced practitioner and when the patient is a suitable consumer. By "suitable" consumer, I mean someone whose temperament and personality is more focused towards concrete problems and their solutions. Typically such patients are very earnest and are looking for solutions in a structured setting. The relationship with the therapist is also quite important as is the case with most psychotherapies. The treatment has the best chance of succeeding if the patient respects the therapist who ideally would be a person of the same temperament.
Hello and thank you for your question,

CBT can be very effective in treating myriad mental health issues. CBT is also well studied and considered to be an evidence-based treatment for several issues.

Thank you,

CBT is very successful if it is taught correctly and it is practiced outside of sessions
