How to help a 6 year old with gas pain?

My 6 year old son has gas pain often. What can relieve this? How to help a 6 year old with gas pain?

Sorry, I am not a pediatric GI doc, but when adults complain of gas pains, we need to be sure that the pain is actually from gas. There are other potential causes. If it really is gas (excessive flatus), then lowering carbohydrates in the diet often helps.
Stop the foods that cause the pain do a food diary for one week. Try gluten free products
Gas pain could be caused by different gastrointestinal conditions ranging from as simple as gas forming diet, excessive swallowing of gas to lactose intolerance, organic disease such as celiac disease, or Crohn disease. This could be relieved by understanding the actual cause. Advised to do simple measures such as reduction in soda, juice and fiber intake, and get a gastroenterologist consult if it persists.
