Pediatrician Questions Potty Training

Ideally, when should we start potty training my daughter?

My daughter is 2 years old, and she still wears diapers. I think now she should should start being potty trained, but my husband thinks we should wait a little longer. Do you think we should start potty training her now?

Yes, she must start now, though some children may take longer, but don't wait.
There is no right or wrong time- these is when you both have the time to put effort into this and your daughter seems ready- 2-3 years of age seems to be the average
Try it. She’ll show you if she’s ready. Some kids are ready at 2.
Is she interested in the potty? Does she pull off her diaper when she is wet? Can she go several hours without wetting her diaper? If so, she is ready to start. If not, she may not be ready.
