Acupuncture is awesome for chronic pain - and we make it not so chronic!!
Acupuncture is an excellent and incredibly safe treatment for chronic pain.
Provided you have a fully trained acupuncturist, who has a master's degree in Chinese medicine, yes. It is safe. I will not make the same statement about chiropractors, doctors or physical therapists as they are not as extensively trained and aren't really practicing acupuncture.
Acupuncture and herbs work very good for this chronic condition.
Yes, acupuncture is effective, safe, and has no side effects. Acupuncture is used to treat a variety of symptoms, especially pain.
Acupuncture is extremely safe for chronic pain.

Yes, of course.
“I think the benefit of acupuncture is clear, and the complications and potential adverse effects of acupuncture are low compared with medication,” says Dr. Lucy Chen, a board-certified anesthesiologist, specialist in pain medicine, and practicing acupuncturist at Harvard-affiliated Massachusetts General Hospital.“

Modern medicine generally emphasizes how acupuncture needles stimulate nerve and muscle cells, reducing the sensation of pain and releasing the body's natural painkillers, called endorphins.
Yes, acupuncture is a great way to help increase blood flow and circulation through the body, nourishing joints and surrounding tissues in hopes to help decrease pain and soreness in specific or generalized areas of pain.

Sorry to hear you are going through such pain. Yes, acupuncture does help with reducing chronic pain.
Thank you.

Yes, acupuncture is actually one of the safest treatments for pain that is available. Adverse events with acupuncture occur at a rate of about 2%, the most common events include bruising at needle sites and fatigue or fainting after treatments, more severe adverse events are very rare. Most chronic pain medications have much higher rates of side effects and adverse events which often lead patients to discontinue treatment. A recent study found acupuncture to be more effective at pain relief than injected morphine, and of course without the side effects. It is a very safe and effective remedy for chronic pain.

Here's a link to that study:
Thank you for your question.
Acupuncture has been practicing for over 3000 years. At present, there are 113 countries, including the US accept this practice legally due to the low rise of medical accidents and malpractice.

Acupuncture is safe and effective treatment for chronic pain. Please consult your local acupuncturist for more information.

Yes, it is! Acupuncture works sending signals to your body, releasing certain natural opioid hormones and endorphins, causing a reduction in the pain sensation.
In general, acupuncture is usually a safe therapy for any condition, however, I would recommend a practitioner that you feel comfortable with and please make sure he or she has all the credentials required in your state of residence.

Acupuncture can be a helpful adjunct with pain management in general. Discuss with your acupuncturist what your alternatives are and what specific concerns you have.
Acupuncture is safe for any symptoms chronic or acute
Acupuncture is most definitely safe and has had success with chronic pain. You know the old saying " The further you walk into the woods, the longer it'll take to get out", so it may take some time to see results. You may want to think about changing your diet and seeing a holistic nutritionist. Oftentimes, chronic pain can be an autoimmune response brought on by certain allergen causing foods, or at least be a contributing factor. Think about making some lifestyle changes, including reducing stress by engaging in internal exercises like yoga or tai chi and working on your diet. It's possible that this alone can reduce your pain. Good luck!!

Absolutely, as long as you choose a licensed Acupuncturist, as opposed to someone that took an abbreviated certification as an addendum to another license.
Yes. So long as acupuncture treatments are administered by a certified or licensed acupuncturist, it is a very safe and effective form of treatment for chronic pain.
Absolutely it is. There are minimal to no side-effects, there is no addiction and the treatments will help and increase help the more you get it done.

Go find a licensed acupuncturist in your area (L.Ac) - not some chiropractor who "got certified" or a PT with needles or an MD who "does acupuncture too". Find a licensed acupuncturist.

good luck
