Is eye twitching a sign of MS?

I am a 32 year old male and I have eye twitching frequently. I am worried. Is eye twitching a sign of MS?

Eyelid twitches or spasms are usually caused by stress, fatigue or caffeine. They usually go away without treatment in a few days or weeks. If they are not improving a complete ophthalmologic exam should be performed.
Thank you for your question. Eyelid twitching in the large majority of cases is purely result of stress and has no other effect on the body. MS is rare and even more rare in male. I strongly suggest that you try relaxation and calming your nerves down and avoid stressful situations as much as possible. You will notice that the twitching will decrease or disappear completely. If that persist for your peace of mind you can see your internist for further evaluation.

Eye twitching is common in the middle years (20-50). It is at worst annoying, but is almost always not pathologic. It is not an early sign of MS. In a few cases that are extreme, with prolonged twitching obvious to others, Botox can attenuate the twitching. This is rare. The condition is called "myokymia" if you want to look it up on the internet.
Look up myokymia on Google.
