Yes, placing an implant is a surgery, it's normal to experience some pain in the area
Hi
Placing an implant requires a surgical procedure so that you could expect some discomfort afterward. Your provider probably informed you that there would be some minor degree of pain and may have recommended post operative medication. In any case, if you are experiencing pain or have other concerns after implant surgery, you should contact the dentist who placed it.
Yes, it is normal to have some discomfort. Based on the responses from my patients, the discomfort is mild and is alleviated with Advil. Implant placement is a surgery and as with nearly all surgeries, there is typically pain/discomfort associated with such a procedure. That being said, if you are concerned, I would recommend you call or visit the dentist office where the implant was placed so that the dentist can evaluate.

It is not unusual to have some discomfort after having an implant placed. My suggestion is that you call the dentist who placed the implant and discuss it with the dentist.
Yes. Severe pain probably needs to be evaluated by your dentist that placed it
