Yes it is safe to do acupuncture every day if you are in need. It depends on your condition(s).
yes
In Asia, acupuncture treatment is every day, 10 visits as a treatment plan. So, it is safe to do acupuncture treatment every day. But maybe not everyone in the US needs so frequent of treatment.
Yes! Absolutely. Daily treatment is the standard in China when coming in for a new issue, though it is rare in the US for anyone to have the time to do that unless they are going through an inpatient treatment program where Acupuncture is part of the program.
Yes
Hello!

It's only safe to do acupuncture every day for an acute condition to quickly diminish your pain or discomfort.
Depends on what is going on. If you have severe Chronic Issues then every other day can be prescribed. If you Acupuncturist thinks that you need a short session every day in the beginning until your symptoms subside then they might do that and then spread out your session as you improve. You shouldn't need every day for long term treatment. Again depends on the chronicity of your aliments. You can find a licensed Acupuncturist near you on www.acufinder.com. Make sure they belong to the NCCAOM.
Yes
It depends on the treatment plan and protocol.
Good afternoon,

It is safe to receive acupuncture treatment everyday, but it's not necessary in most cases, it all depends on the patient's condition.

Yes for a short timeframe. In many clinics in China they will see patients daily until symptoms resolve for a short period of time.
It depends on your needs and your body's recovery speed. My recommendation is every other day, but I have seen some clinics in China that do two acupuncture treatments in one day, mostly one in the morning and one in the afternoon for treating some chronic pains.
At acupuncture school, I had a teacher who had been a director of the acupuncture department of a Beijing University hospital. He would tell us that many people would receive acupuncture everyday for an ongoing basis. Even people who did not need it would come in because it was covered by the government. We can be sure that there are no deleterious effects of receiving acupuncture daily.
Yes, it could be safe. However, each case is different and some bodies cannot handle the major transition acupuncture can sometimes cause as it does tend to detoxify and balance the body. I’d suggest being sensitive your body’s responses to the treatments received.
Yes, it is safe to do acupuncture every day.

It depends on the type of acupuncture and what condition is being treated. It is perfectly safe to have an acute injury treated every day until symptoms resolve. If the condition is chronic, more time between treatments is recommended.

Depends on the conditions. For stroke patients, in order to get a better result, daily treatment might required. For patients with mild to moderate conditions, 1-2-3 treatment(s)/week all may be possible depending on the doctor's diagnosis.
Absolutely. Traditionally, for chronic or severe conditions, daily treatments were and still are prescribed.

Warmly,

If you are getting a local treatment for an injury, sure, you could do it every day. But if you're being treated for anything else, no, twice a week is plenty. You would become worn out and fatigued if you were to go every day.
It's safe to do acupuncture every day.
It is not a safety issue. It is if it is necessary.
I do not in my practice treat patients back to back days unless they are paralyzed or post stroke or doing smoking/drug cessation. But I have no understanding of it being unsafe to do daily. It's just not my usual mode of practice.
My experience, acupuncture works better if you receive it several times in a week, as I have found that it has a cumulative effect that way (the treatments tend to work more effectively). I myself have found great benefit in being treated several times in one day and loved it. I have, however, rarely seen acupuncture stop working or aggravate after lots of treatment (in about 5 out of about 1000 clients) so yes, I would say it is possible. Also, I don’t insert needles into areas of pain, but some techniques do and then I would say yes, you can definitely have too much acupuncture, as you wouldn’t want to cause too much irritation to the area.
Yes it is, but in my practice I don’t do that.
It is but only for acute, severe conditions such as stroke or mono. Generally speaking, you won't need treatment more frequently than once per week.
No, not safe! Too many treatments will cause you to lose health.
You could, and if done properly, it isn't dangerous. However, most acupuncturists won't necessarily recommend this. 2-3 times a week is the average. Once the symptoms start getting better, you can start reducing that number to once a week -> once every two weeks and so on.
I have heard that in ancient times when one was very sick they used to do acupuncture for 10 days in a row. But, I don't recommend this, and it is not how I practice. Acupuncture is not unhealthy for the body no matter how many times you do it. I just believe the body needs to rest so it can reset.
Yes, it's safe to receive acupuncture daily. In China, patients will often receive acupuncture daily over several days in order to resolve a condition. We don't often use this model of delivery in the US because of cost.
