Is laser varicose vein removal dangerous?

I'm 55 years old, and I have varicose veins. I want to get rid of them with laser varicose vein removal, but I'm not sure how safe this procedure is. Is this a dangerous procedure?

in my opinion and experience lazer removal of varicose veins is not as effective as sclerotherapy.Because there are many types of varicosity from spider veins to large varicosity and each is in deferent depths .A given lazer can be effective only to the veins within its specific depth . Lazer is more attractive then effective treatment in the field of varicosity
All the FDA approved procedures for varicose veins are not dangerous(laser, radio frequency ablation, Venaseal glue injection, varithena foam injection). Among all of these, laser historically has higher risk of post procedural pain and varithena foam has higher risk of deep venous thrombosis
The treatment of varicose veins by a properly trained vascular surgeon is usually very safe. Unfortunately many people purport that they are treatment experts in this area when they are not. This is a very common problem.
