Dentist Questions Mouthwash

Is mouthwash necessary?

I'm 22 years old and I brush my teeth at least twice a day. But now I'm thinking about using mouthwash as well. Is mouthwash necessary?

No
Mouthwash is important, but not as important as flossing.
Hi! Instead of mouthwash- add flossing to your routine first. Floss once a day at night. Mouthwash can be a good adjunct to brushing and flossing, but master the basics first! If you have trouble with cavities, gum issues or bad breath you can choose an appropriate mouthwash to help you.
Not necessarily. If you add anything to your regimen, I would recommend floss.

Hope this helps,
