Is there an alternative to gum grafting?

I am a 37 year old male. I want to know if there is an alternative to gum grafting?

No
Yes. Do nothing.
Hi, that’s a good question. Please make sure you see a certified specialist (a periodontist) to do that procedure. Sometimes you don’t get the most cosmetic result, but it helps to reinforce the tissue around the tooth so as to prevent mobility and loss of tooth. An alternative is not brushing too hard and using Sensodyne toothpaste if you are having sensitivity.
No.
There are different types of grafting. But essentially, if a graft is indicated from a gum defect, that is the only solution.
Yes there is. You can have your blood draw and centrifuge down to get the fibrin.
This can be flattened out and sewn into the other tissues. This would eliminate the need to take a graft from the roof of your mouth.
