Radiologist Questions Aneurysms

Is there any way to detect an aneurysm?

I'm 37 years old, and my doctor believes that I have an aneurysm. Are there any tests and scans I would need to diagnose it?

Yes, your doctor will tell you where the aneurysm is suspected and CT, MRI, or Angiograms will be chosen to find the size, location, etc., or, if you don’t have it, it could be something else.
It depends on where the aneurysm is located. If the aneurysm is suspected to be the abdominal aorta, then this is easy to screen using ultrasound. The first question would be know suspected location of the aneurysm before deciding on the modality.
