Is there a difference between psychoanalysis and psychology?

I just want to know, is there a difference between psychoanalysis and psychology? What makes psychoanalysts different from psychologists?

Psychology is the study of human behavior and human emotions. Psychoanalysis is a more analytic modality under the practice of Psychology as is the Psychodynamic modalities, which are more about dealing with the moment, coping skills, solutions and resolutions
In my experience, a Psychologist has an advanced graduate degree, such as a PhD or PsyD, more training and a license. Anyone can be a “psychotherapist.” The training and licensing requirements are less strict. I hope this helps.

Psychology, as a science, was created in 1879 by Wilhelm Wundt in Liepzig Germany. He created the first laboratory to study the human being. He developed a method called Introspection. He was seeking the mind structures. He thought that they were the sensations. Psychoanalisis was created by Sigmund Freud in Vienna. He also was interested in studying the human mind and how it developed mental illness. He called his method Psychoanalisis. To explain the psycho dinamics of the structures of the human mind he created the Id, the Ego and the Super Ego.
