By the end of the day, I experience a lot of pain all over my body, mainly due to my weight. Because of this, I feel like I'm unable to work out to lose it because of the pain. What should I do?

It can be a difficult situation because you want to exercise to lose weight, but feel as though you can’t secondary to the pain. There are other sources of therapy including aqua therapy, stationary bike, and other modalities which may not be as painful.
Diet and exercise are recommended for anyone. However you have to realize diet is 80% of the weight loss battle. So, start with a conservative diet, stop sugars and white flour products. Additionally, start walking, which might be hard due to your pain, but start off slowly and gradually increase.
Hello,

Have you tried working out in the morning or at lunch? Try walking and swimming to start and work your way up to more vigorous exercise. I recommend the Paleo diet and Ketogenic diet for weight loss.

When a person is no longer able to perform enough exercise they must reduce calories to achieve weight loss. It is best to work with a professional such as a Naturopathic physician to avoid unhealthy choices and to make sure the diet contains sufficient nutrients in spite of reduced calories.
I am faced with this issue a lot in my practice. The advice I give my patients is simple. If you can't control the calories that you can expend then you MUST control the calories you intake. It's a diet issue. I would recommend decreasing or eliminating carbohydrates and sugars. Also eliminate processed foods (things that come out of a box or can) which may cause a low level of inflammation. Basically if it doesn't go bad, then you shouldn't eat it. Eat meats and vegetables primarily. This will help to decrease weight without the need for vigorous exercise. It's basically a lifestyle change which is needed. Is it easy? No. But it is worth it.
