Is the hypertension secondary to advanced kidney disease, then diuretics along with other anti hypertensive medications will be helpful. If it is secondary to renal artery stenosis (depending on single kidney or both kidneys, current renal fn, severity of stenosis, hypertension, etc.), medical management or intervention may help. While on meds, need to monitor renal fn closely.
Any of the group of medications for hypertension can be used.
Amilodipine is better, or take herbal medicine.
Start on one type of anti BP med
