“What should I do for my daughter's severe mood swings?”
My 14 year old daughter has severe mood swings -- especially around her periods. How can I help her?

Be aware that moodiness is associated with hormonal changes. If it is severe, OCP can help the premenstrual symptoms and sometimes mood stabilizers can be used. If it is mild, try not to provoke her and encourage exercise and hydration.
