Pediatrician Questions Sneezing

Why does my daughter sneeze everyday?

Every morning, my daughter wakes up and sneezes repeatedly for nearly a half an hour. She'll also sneeze randomly throughout the day, especially if she's in that room. This never happened before. What could be the issue?

Probably allergies.
She may have developed allergies to pollens, mold, etc that could be in the room. Make sure you don't have candles, diffusers or other respiratory irritants in the room. You may try claritin or zyrtec daily and see if this helps.

She might have allergies. You say she sneezes more in one room, it might be a dust allergy. Talk to her pediatrician about getting a blood test to check for specific environmental allergies for your area. Good dusting, cleaning, using Baking soda on mattresses for a couple of hours and then vacuuming helps get rid of dust mites. Books collect a lot of dust, too.
