My initial Hep B antigen test came back positive but the confirmation test came back negative. Should I be worried that I have Hep B?

Should I get retested? What’s the difference between the initial test and the confirmation test? I don’t think I was exposed but I just don’t understand why the initial test came back positive.

You can have re testing again to make sure
No
I think that you should have hepatitis DNA level as well as liver ultrasound and liver profile before deciding if we can rear or not.
Some initial tests can be a false positive, but if your confirmatory test was negative, then it is less likely you have Hepatitis B. I would repeat the test in one to three months to be sure it is negative.
