“Why do I have a pain in my eyes when I read?”
Whenever I read these days I am experiencing pain in my eyes. Is this normal? I am 56 years old. What could be causing this pain?

Two reasons, dry eyes and inadequate reading glasses
You may be experiencing dryness or eye strain. I recommend that you visit an Eye MD (ophthalmologist) or qualified optometrist to evaluate your eyes thoroughly.
