Physical Therapist Questions foot pain

I have a strange pain in my right foot. Would physical therapy help?

I have a strange pain and some discomfort in my right foot every time I climb stairs. I say strange because it is dull, not sharp or burning. It is located in the pad beneath my toes. My weight could be one of the factors causing the pain. Do you think physical therapy can help me?

You might stress injury to the metatarsal region. PT can help.
Yes.
Hello and thank you for your inquiry. It is difficult to determine the cause of your foot pain, but it may be something called metatarsalgia. In any case, I would see a therapist to get a proper diagnoses and I am sure that physiotherapy can help with the issues you are having. They should be able to assist you with the pain and discomfort along with possible goals for your weight and possibly fit you for orthotics as they may help.
You should see a physical therapist.
A PT consult would not be a bad idea to see if this is a transient issue or something entirely different.
