“Can physical therapy help in treating my spondylitis?”
I am suffering from extreme spondylitis and am currently on medication for the same. Should I also take up some physical therapy to ease my condition and relieve the pain?

Hi,
I am the owner/operator of a multidisciplinary clinic that provides massage, physiotherapy, chiropractic, acupuncture, osteopathy and laser therapy. Our laser therapy is medical laser (Thor Laser), and is turning out to be very powerful in the treatment of a wide range of pain conditions, including injury and diseases. Laser therapy for spondylitis can help with the pain and slow the progression of the disease. It cannot cure the disease, but helps in its management. We often find that combined treatments are complimentary and so will provide physiotherapy and laser together.

You should always consider PT for any itis. Proper Assessment techniques should provide relief of symptoms
