“Will my rheumatic disease also weaken my lung muscles?”
I am suffering from a rheumatic disorder that causes pain in my muscles and joints. I recently find my breathing heavy as well. Could the rheumatic disease also weaken my lung muscles?

There are several types of inflammation that affect the lungs and can weaken muscles as well as lungs, both the actual lung as well as the muscles that help you breathe. Pulm function, cpk aldolase and insp pressure as well as exp pressures will help. Also, an echocardiogram may be appropriate.
