Should I ask my doctor to prescribe me the hydroxychloroquine as I am at increased risk?

I have recently tested positive for Covid-19 and have moderate COPD. Should I ask my doctor to prescribe me the hydroxychloroquine as I am at increased risk?

Yes, 400 mgs a week. Many years safely used to treat rheumatoid arthritis and lupus.
There is no such indication to treat positive COVID-19 patients with Chloroquine or Zithromax. If you become symptomatic with fever, cough, mild sore throat and shortness of breath, then it may not be a bad idea to treat with both these medications.

No, there is no evidence that it prevents corona virus infection
Yes, why not. There is nothing better than that at this time!
