“How can I support my husband on his road to sobriety?”
My husband is trying to give up drinking but is finding it very hard and painful. I'm not sure how to help him or if the best way to help is to just leave him alone. What do you suggest? He is doing great so far but he seems to be in a lot of anguish.

You need to encourage him to get on Vivitrol which is an injection form of naltrexone. It blocks the opiod receptors and is able to STOP the craving. Yes, even the craving is blocked. It is a monthly shot. This is a relapsing illness and he needs a lot more than a strong will.
