“Can you suggest a treatment for abdominal water retention?”
My mother has severe water retention because of her chronic kidney disease. We were originally going to wait till it goes down, but it's now causing her pain. What can we do for her?

She will need to take some diuretics to help her eliminate the excess water retention. If she were to continue with her symptoms, I would recommend going to the hospital because she would probably need to be tapped in her abdomen to remove the excess liquid.
