Optometrist Questions bulging eyes

Are there any treatment for bulging eyes?

I have bulging eyes, and feel very insecure about it. Are there any treatments available for this?

For treatment of bulging eyes, it would be a good plan to make an appointment with your primary care physician. They should be able to do the tests for medical conditions such as thyroid eye disease or any other conditions.
Bulging eyes can be a sign of an underlying medical condition, shallow eye socket, an injury to the eye, or your natural anatomical facial features. In order to determine if the bulge can be treated, the eyes need to be examined by an eye doctor.

You should see your primary care physician to rule out a thyroid issue
Bulging eyes could be a sign of Graves’ disease or hyperthyroidism. I would first get a complete physical and blood work. Sometimes a CT scan of the orbits of the eyes may also be indicated.

Yes, radiation and orbital decompression. You need to find out the source of why your eyes are bulging though. See your doctor.
If it is due to a disease like hyperthyroidism or orbital mass, we can treat it with surgical intervention. If it is due to shallow orbit which is a congenital and genetic deviation we would not touch it.
Please get checked for thyroid hormones
