One if the reasons could be that vessels surrounding vagina filled up with blood due to arousal and tissue is engorged, thats for feeling of heaviness.
The soreness most likely due to micro tears that happens during friction. You may want to see your gyn for any signs of infection if discomfort persist
It is normal. It is due to friction and congestion. It will go away in a short time.
There are many reasons this can happen, you may be lacking sufficient lubrication, you may have a vaginal infection or even lacking in estrogen depending on your age. You could try prolonged foreplay to increase lubrications naturally, using an over the counter lubricant like KY. If you have an symptoms of a vaginal infection like itching or odor, make an appointment with your gynecologist. If you are 45 or older you may be lacking estrogen or if you are breastfeeding. If the problem worsens or persists it is best to see a gynecologist.
Difficult to tell without an examination. You may not be producing enough lubrication.
Intercourse causes increased blood supply to the genital organs which in turn causes some swelling and soreness. This is very normal and you will recover in a day or two.
Take care!
During foreplay and during intercourse, the female genitalia including the vagina become engorged with blood. When you add the friction of intercourse to this sensitive environment, it very often leaves a woman feeling heavy and sore.
Make sure you clean yourself from front to back before and after sexual activity, and also your significant other, too. Also, make sure to visit your ob/gyn to r/o any infection and also r/o endometriosis.
