General-LMA or GETA
To my knowledge and experience, always general anesthesia.
General anesthesia
Most plastic surgeons will perform a breast reduction under general anesthesia.
The anesthesia that is chosen for your breast reduction surgery depends on you and the surgeon. If I am doing a a scarless breast procedure, it is performed under local anesthesia with sedation as needed.
