“What are the first symptoms of Alzheimer's disease?”
I'm 20 years old, and I know that I have a family history of Alzheimer's. But what are the first symptoms that I would notice if I do have Alzheimer's? I know I'm only 20, but my father was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's at 45.

The typical first sign is short term memory loss. We all have some memory loss as we age, but this is more than one's baseline. Make sure you have a healthy lifestyle by eating properly and exercising. If your father is alive, it would be helpful if he had genetic testing, not you unless you are symptomatic.
